I live in a partially-cement, three-story houseAll the floors and ceilings are 6quot; of cement and the walls are woodI have an unheated garage on the first floor with heating duct work attached to the garage cement ceiling with cement nailsThis is to support the living room heating needs on the second floorI would like to isulate the heating ducts in the unheated garageWhat is my best choice or are the options l am listing below even possible?a) Hire a contractor to seperate and insulate the heating ducts and then reattach to the cement ceilings with cement nails againb) Find heating duct insulation that can be attached to the existing heating ducts with heavy duty spray-on glueDoes this even exist?c) Spray additional insulation on the heating ductsIs this even possible?d) I'm open to any other ideas.
