Question:

Help getting over nerves for welding?

I m a girl in a welding class with 11 other guys. Not necessarily scared to weld I ve done it before just not in front of more than one person. I just want a few pointers to get over the nerves

Answer:

If you have no good reason to fire the first guy, he could take your a** to court and sue you big time. You can't just get rid of people because you think someone else might be better. That's just mean.
It's not a defect, although the more-expensive helmets don't tend to do that as much due to better design. It's just a well-known problem with full-face helmets. It's a bit like learning not to breathe out while drinking coffee with glasses on! You can buy anti-fog sprays and anti-fog sticks that rub on like a deodorant, or you can just use a little bit of straight dishwashing detergent and wipe it on with a dry cloth until it's all been absorbed by the cloth.
you can also find the antifog spray at dive shops. i've used full face helmets always, and have never had a problem with mine. i use a shoei, and my husband has an icon, and neither of us have ever had an issue with fogging up. good luck!
