Hello i have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP . I was pulled over the other night for having too loud of an exhaust. I know what i need, i need a new cat back. I was looking at the SLP cat backs . I was curious if they would make any difference in horsepower or should i just go with a new stock cat back? Help please
SlP cat backs are usually loud. Get something stock better. I installed a ZZP DP with cats and it gave the GTP a nice deeper grumble. It wasnt too loud or obnoxious, cops never looked at me twice. Plus it freed up restricted ponies, you could feel the difference. Bottom line no horsepower with catback, only sound and style.
