Answer:

It is used in plumbingGas lines are often made of corrugated aluminum because it's flexibleIt's commonly found in applications where heat exchange is desirable: like the coils that carry refrigerant in air-conditionersIt doesn't work well for water because it tends to corrodeAnd alternate materials - like plastic- are cheaper and easier to run.
Aluminum corrodes very easily when exposed to salt compounds, and everything involved in typical plumbing is some form or another of a salt compoundAdditionally, aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer's Disease which makes it less than ideal for drinking waterWhat is aluminum supposed to be cheaper than? Copper is rarely used anymore, largely replaced by plastic tubingAnd water mains and such are made out of cast iron and carbon steels, both of which are significantly cheaper than aluminum.
It was probably left there by a bird starting to build a nest for the SpringBirds will collect all sorts of colorful fibers.ribbon, yarn, hair, wool, plant fiber, sticks.all kinds of thingsThe most common birds who build on window sills include mostly ground feeders like doves and pigeonsI am a witch of many years and know of no spell where hair is left on a window sillHowever, I once knew a girl who was trying to make a name for herself by doing all kinds of things that looked witchy to the outsiderIt may be someone is just trying to get your attentionI doubt any witchcraft is involved.
Aluminum is used in temporary irrigation pipingIt is lighter than either steel or plastic equivalents, important when the farmer has to move by hand.
it has been known for years that aluminum that is released during household use such as cooking etc, contributes to dementia disease of the brain.using these products for piping etc would not be adviseableit would also be too soft and would bent or burst easier that plastic or steel.
