hi guys i was wondering if on the motherboard the connectors such as the case led connectors and hard drive connectors can connect to the mother board like forard backward and so on e.g. in my motherboard things arnt labled like the case wires and so on and i rescently pulled all of the switches out of the motherboard and found that some of the led connectors which connected to the case with have prongs like this . and will fit in foward and backward and some that have the same connector . but are all little single wires when i put them all back i was starting to wonder if they were in their right places so if i did put them in the rong way would it do any damage and would it just work the same no matter what oh and with the ribbon cable comming from the opticcal drive and the one comming from the hdd they are bothe the same socket and right next to each other but are color coded thank god so if i happend to stuff it up and put them in the opposite port would
The little led lights olny light one way, so if it don't work, turn them around. The HDD cables are the same, there should be a notch to plug in one way, either plug. Or there is a stripe on one edge, and that goes by pin 1 as listed on the board
