Help with Physics Question involving Efficiency/Power/Work?

A motor having an efficiency of 88% operates a crane having an efficiency of 42%With what constant speed does the crane lift a 415 kg crate of machine parts if the power supplied to the motor is 4.6 kW? If you could provide an explanation please that would be great!

Answer:

Yeeeaaahhh: efficency is OutPut/Input The power to motor is 4.6kw at its efficiency it can put out a max power of 4.6.88 4.05 ish Use that number for the input of the crane inselfwith the .42 efficicncy the will only have access to 4.0542 1.701 watts Now to wrap it up: 1.701 watts Power Work/time Fd/time Fvelcoity where F Force mg You should be able to take it from there.remember you are looking for velocity
Hey there.I get some pretty good scrap pieces from Ebay .yea OKorder.I have purchased a half a sheet of 1/8 and made a firewall for a car I have .I went to all my local scrap yards and nothing worth getting., I tried ryerson steel but the shipping fee was off the wall because of the size 4' x 8' .I tried a local sheet metal shop, they had exactly what i wanted but they wanted again 5 prices for itI got the piece on OKorder for about 15 dollars and the shipping was about 15 dollars.I thought I got a good dealMaybe not.Well have a good one from the E.
