press foil around the outside of the pan? use a cookie sheet? use a larger skillet than the outside rim of the pan you are cooking in? I usually put a sheet of foil on top of the kettle then put a skillet on thatI use cast iron and don't want the steam causing rust on bottom of skillet on top!!
