should i just buy new Mobo, ram and cpu or buy o whole new computer? These are my specs: p4 3.2 ghz HT ddr2 533mhz ram and gpu is nvidia 9600 gt green edition 512 mb. i tough i should buy now new mobo and 4gb ddr3 ram and amd x4 or x6 series cpu and change gpu later. what do u think?
To come out cheaper buy another mobo, ram, cpu , amd 's are pretty well price, recommend 6gb of ram 1600mhz, a good psu 500-650 watts depends on the graphic card you might be getting later recommend a amd hd 6950 or a nvidia gtx 560 ti,processor a amd phenom ll 1100t
Depends what you are wanting to do. Programs that need a lot of resources (video games, 3D graphics rendering, drafting) can benefit from an upgrade. Otherwise what you already have can still run you for a few more years.
Get new mobo and RAM and CPU Get Z68 chipset Get i5-2500K And get a good GPU like GTX 560 Ti or Radeon HD 6950 (if your case fits them, if not then buy new case too) These specs are for a gamer. If you aren't gamer/designer/editor then a simple i3-2100, H67 chipset mobo and a 6670 will do just fine for years to come. I advice cincerely not to buy AMD Phenom II or any other AMD CPU. i5-2500K is just better and Ivy Bridge will most certainly trash Bulldozer. Bulldozer is coming later this year (from AMD) and Ivy Bridge is coming from Intel and will be around here in H1 of 2012.
buy a phenom II x4, its better than x6 in performance/price, buy a motherboard from 990 series so that you will have option to upgrade to upcoming bulldozer/FX cpu in future, do not buy a GPU this time coz evreyone is waiting for new gen of graphics card promised by both AMD and nVidea by the end of this year. Untill then you can use your existing gpu or onboard gpu of mobo. Use your this psu for now but you will have to buy a new one when you will get a new gpu to meet its power requirment . Nothing is better as saving :'''''''''')
