im thinking of either replacing the floor or the sofa cant afford to do both! The floor is tiled but like a wooden floor effect!!!! The sofa is a cherry red with a flowery pattern! Any one any ideas of what i should change i cant decide what to do myself? Thanks.
If you like your sofa, why not get an area run to compliment it (it sounds like the sofa has a busy pattern, so select a solid rug; maybe pick a favorite or neutral color that's in the sofa upholstery somewhere, and get an area run in that single color). A tile floor - even one that mimics wood (tho the newest wood look tiles are very cool) sounds cold for a living room, so a large area rug in a complimentary color kills two birds. If you like the floor and are ready for a new look for your sofa, get a slip cover for the sofa. You coud pick out fabric in a fabraic store and have one custom sewn (not necessarily cheap) or check out ready-made slip covers at a site like Sure-fit.
WAIT! okorder /.. Click on the living room option and change up flooring options and the color of your sofa.... do both without actually doing it HEHE! Its fantastic... it will give you some ideas on what colors would best go with each other. ALSO: Instead of replacing the sofa how about reupholstering it? That could be an idea? Use the designer trust me! its great!

get a soffa cover :) or get a BIG BIG rug to put under ur sofa it shouldnt be matchy matchy that would look stupid but their should be some things in the materials that kindof match
