I am looking for high fibre and low protein hay for my horse that founders a lotHe currently has kinda sloppy poop because he is not getting enough fibre in his diet.Thanks! P

Answering your exact question - clay does not burn and you can not light it on fireGuessing at what you meant - clay must be absolutely dry and is normally heated slowly at first even then, if you put it in a hot spot - fire or oven or kiln - the water inside will turn to steam and blow the item to piecesThe pieces may be moving fairly quickly over a short distance and in a kiln will mess up other pieces near by.
You want a grass hayNone of us can give you exact percentages without testing the hay Do NOT use Alfalfa or anything with Alfalfa in it(Out here in California we can sometimes buy blends of hay such as BOA or BOWA, the A is alfalfa.) Meadow grass or Orchard grass I believe are the lowest proteinI believe Bermuda and Timothy are next highestAnd again, Alfalfa is way way high.
