what foods have the highest amounts of fibre in htem, i was surprised to find out metamucil only has 4 g per glass
all kinds of vegetables and fruits have high amounts of fibre in them especially the green ones

I have used cardboard/paper towel tubes before, make the basic skeleton with those and some masking tape, then build up the layers of paper mache to smooth out the lookOr you can try a light Styrofoam from a craft store, but the mache likely wont stick to that as well as the cardboardYou can also try balloons, but you would have to be careful since this would make your structure very fragile.
How big? Ten feet? Twenty? You'll need a rigid spine, so I suggest either cheap pine for the frame work or PVC tubing, which is really light weightEither allows you to staple chicken wire to it with a staple gunPVC is what allows a lot of the larger one man puppets to be builtNow the thing to remember about chicken wire is since it isn't rigid, it's not an actual support for the structureThe chicken wire is just there to let you build up enough paper mache to get a solid layer of paper mache, which when it dries will be the actual structure Don't make the amateur mistake of just putting a thin layer of paper on top as if it was skin, as it will flex and the paint or whatever will crack You want to build up a thick layer, like flesh on a bone An inch thick and it wil support itself for a couple of feet Unless by large you just mean something head or man's torso sized, in which case just use a balloon or another inflated chamber Keep in mind you need to build up multiple layers to make it look goodGood paper mache takes more than two hours the night before it's due.
