HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY QUESTIONS HELP?
The difference in FWD and RWD is exactly that the wheels that propel the vehicle forward and backward. RWD is on all pickup trucks and vehicles that are going to haul more than 50 pounds of groceries at a time. With just RWD you have to be aware that if you are turning and the centripetal force is pulling you away from the way you are turning if you do not have good traction for example: bad tires snow/ice and even rain your rear end is going to want to go in the direction you just were. With FWD you have to be aware that you are pulling the car with the front wheels instead of pushing with a RWD. So instead of having the rear end sliding out around corners if you have bad tires in the snow/ice and even rain with the FWD your going to try to turn and will keep going straight instead of going where your going. For myself I would recommend having a 4x4 to where you could get the best or the worst of both worlds of a FWD and a RWD.
In a rear wheel drive the back wheels push the vehicle around. In a front wheel drive the front wheels pull the vehicle along. If you want maximum control, then get an all wheel drive and all four wheels push and pull you along. Subaru, Volvo and Audi are some of the auto makers with all wheel drive vehicles.
Very easy to research this properly yourself and who knows, you may actually LEARN something.
