Question:

hiya all.i'm insulating my ceiling and they're 7 1/4 deepWhat will installing 8 1/4 deep insulation do?

i'm installing insulation in my ceiling and want the highest R-value up theremy ceiling joists are 7 1/4 inches deep but wondering if i could use the 8 1/4 inch deep insulationWill the R-value go down considerable with it being bunched up like that? i'm thinking of putting 1 by 2inch strips to get to the 8 1/4 inches, but don't really want tois R-19 (7 1/4 inch deep) better than R-25 (8 1/4 inch deep)? Thanks

SIMPLE! Treseme heat protection CONDITIONERUse it 3 times a week instead of ur normal conditioner and BAM u dont have to worry a bit! I got the straightener heat issue b4 too! then one day i tried this and wow seriously heat is like NOTHING! it's no big
No matter the product, you will get damageI have used every hair protector in the book and my ceramic still damages itAny heat you place hair under has the potential to damageDon't stop using them though b/c your hair will always be better off with some type of protection.
Yes you should be using a product that protects from heat damage.there are many kinds out there.I use So Sexy by Victoria's Secret - it's a gloss/shine serum, and I'm not sure if it says it protects, but it does wonders for my hairIt makes extra soft, and it smells soooooo good!! But what you are using should be fine, any kind of product that says thermal protection - is usually fineremember though, any time you apply any heat to your hair, blow drying, flat iron, curl iron.etc, it will have some kind of damage.the use of the products protects pretty well, but there is still some damage.
go for it its only one inch you didn't say if there is a floor in the attic if no floor you get the full 8 1/4 inch still better than 71/4 inch
i'm not sure about that productbut i use chi silkfusion and it woks greati've been using it for 2 years and no complaints!
