Is there a complete version of Hoist the colours high? the one on the soundtrack is just 1:31 long, while i did come across a complete version on the net, it just doesnt give the energy which is shown in the movie while song is being sung.
I've downloaded that song off limewire and Hoist The Colors is just really a short score. I think it's only 2 minutes. In the soundtrack album, the track lasts only between a minute and half or two. (maybe you're right 1:31) The track you heard in the movie is a different version because it was prolonged with additional notes just to provide appropriate mood and to match the duration needed for that scene. Same reason also in the end credits where the song is played twice. I love the song too. That's the best piece I heard from Hans Zimmer but I feel spoiled because the climactic part only lasted few seconds.
