I went to Hobby Lobby's store website and typed in resin and it came up with Castin' Craft Transparent Dye Polyester - Resin DyeIs that the same thing as what I'm looking for? Thanks in advanced!

They have already done that with the HANS device. I think I'd pick fan safety, the drivers, pit crews, and officials knew what they signed up for. The fans can expect on the outside that maybe, just maybe, something weird will happen. But they are not trained to react to a tire flying at them, etc.
