Question:

Homeschool/College/Real Estate?

Im homeschooled and really want to be a real estate agent but it says that one of the requirements is to have a high school diploma. Would I have to go to college to get it or would it be different because Im homeschooled?

Answer:

If your homeschool isn't accredited and isn't issuing you a diploma, you are wasting your time. You need to get involved in a different program, or maybe a cyberschool that will issue a diploma, or your highschool years are wasted, and you would then need to get your GED before starting college or to get into the real estate world.
What do you mean would I have to go to college to get it...To get what, your high school diploma? Colleges don't issue high school diplomas. You will receive your high school diploma by following the homeschool laws where you live. If allowed by law, your parents will issue your diploma.
I thought home schooled kids earn their high school diploma at home. Add: Sorry I couldn't help. Maybe you can post your question in the real estate section and ask some agent if you have to have a traditional HS diploma or not.
