Im planning on making some hood spacers for the hood on my car, but im not trying to spend 30 bucks on a little piece of aluminum.What can i use to make them? i was thinking just getting a thing piece of steel like small square tubing, or even just adding washers in between the bolt and the bottom of the hood bracket
I don't know how mush space you need but Home Depot and Low es has inexpensive short sticks of small square tubingYou could also look around for industrial strength thick washers alsoYou'll find these on the McMaster Carr website.
