I thought fiber was course and so it helped move things through your systemHow can a clear substance that disappears in drinking water help move things thorough my system? I take the psyllium husk stuff nowCan the benefiber actually keep me regular?
First off, congratulations on finally getting the car that you've always wantedYou are now faced with two choices - you can patch and reinforce the rusted areas (not recommended) or you can dismantle the car and restore it correctly (recommended)It sounds like you need a new floor pan for starters and what ever else is rusted extensivelyIt's a project, but once you finish, your pride of ownership and accomplishment will be well worth it.
The best possible thing is to go to a body-repair shop before the rust spreads and have the rusty parts cut away, replacing them with thicker steel plates, body filling, paint and have the entire car rust-proofed for better protection next time.
Depends on how long you plan to keep itOnce rust starts, it's very, very expensive to repair properly so it doesnt come back.
A) I would think parking the car outside would actually be worse, as it would be exposed to all of the elements (wind, water, and rain cause erosion )All I can think of would be the heat in the garage somehow would cause the car to rust fasterHeat + Metal RustB) In the winter, when it snows, massive amounts of salt are put on the roads, and this salt gets all over the car, which leads to rustingC) The rubber mats act like a cover, they take the beating instead of the carpets when your shoes get all over themD) The paint also acts like a cover, so when its chipped, this exposes the metal of the car to the elements, since it is no longer protected by the paint ( sun, wind, rain, snow.) Hope this helps! I have to say these are my best educated guesses, and I'm really not sure about A).
Bran fiber is coarse and is called insoluble fiberThere is another type of fiber called soluble fiberIt actually dissolves in water and is not coarseYou need both kindsBran fiber is more likely to make you regular, but Benefiber is more gentleIt is not digestible, and it acts like a lubricant in your digestive tractAlso, it holds your poop togetherBenefiber is made from a soluble fiber called guar gum powderPsyllium and guar are both soluble fiber.
