Answer:

if there was more light to the face, that would be awesome.
The face is too dark, although I see you said in your comments that you needed a reflector. No need to 'invest' in one - you could've gone into the kitchen got a piece of foil stuck it on a large bit of card. ANY kind of reflective material will do as long as it's fairly colour neutral. I like her pose, shoulder on to the camera the eye contact is good, but I'm not liking the way you've chopped off the top of her head, nor where her thigh ends. The focus on her eye looks a little soft too. If you want to invest, get a a cheap manual flash radio triggers - about ?60 the lot (YN560 ?40; RF602 triggers ?20) learn to control your light. Natural light is all well good - until there's not enough of it, or it's the wrong direction, or too harsh, or too soft. Get a brolly light stand (another ?40 or so) and you'd have a good single light setup suitable for indoors or out on location.
the face is a bit too dark but other than that it's pretty ok
It's alright; the hidden eye doesn't add but sustract and there is a extrange light blockage around her neck
an Engine and a Ladder are different types of equipment an Engine company would be about 3 or 4 vehicles with ordinary fire engine type equipment while a Ladder company would likely be only two vehicles, with the one [the Ladder] being the childhood fantasy hook and ladder unit suitable for multi-story buildings. A Battalion consists of a number of Companies, usually at least three, and may consist of any mixture of types. In many cities, each Battalion has its own Chief.
