Question:

How can I make an easy and effective voodoo doll out of simple everyday materials around my home?

Hi! Does anyone know of any easy ways to make a voodoo doll out of some ordinary stuff I have around my house? I don't have too much in the way of craft stuff, but I have straws, markers, fabric, yarn, popsicle sticks, MAYBE some pipe cleaners, and I could get a piece of hair or something off the person I'm going to use it onAnd no, I don't believe in ghosts etc, and the whole voodoo doll thing is just for funI want to see if I can actually use it on this girl who's been bullying me at school(taking my lunch, spreading rumors about me, lying about me cheating on a test so I got in trouble, that sort of thing)I doubt it'll work, but it might be kind of fun to try, LOLAnyway, anyone know any ways to make a voodoo doll?

Answer:

The shroud does not date to the time it is said to have been a part ofMany Christians, including many scientists, therefore see it as a hoaxMost non-Christians really could not care less.
just like most relics of the early church the shroud of turin is fakebesides the fact that jesus probablly didnt look like the image we see on the shroudmost relics were made by priests to ensure attendence on sundaythen i think they really started to believe their own smoke screen but it is very intriguing how it was made without todays technologyi dont think the shroud was jesus' burial cloth but it is a piece of history we need to preserve for future generations
They both know it's a hoaxThe shroud has been carbon dated to about 1500 A.DIt seems to be created as an attempt to discredit religionWhoever came up with it speculated that one day it would be proven a forgeryAnd they were right.
I'm sorry, but your question is 'poorly asked' there are NO 'societies' of Faith and Science and none of either Faith or SciencePerhaps it would be 'better asked' if you had said 'What is the thinking of people in Faith and in Science concerning the Shroud of Turin?' I actually am 'both' Faith and Science oriented and as far as I'm concerned 'the jury is still out' on The Shroud of Turin and even if it is found to be a 'total hoax' then I'd love to know 'how' they got Jesus portrait onto the 'cloth' in such a way as to 'fool' so many people for so long into believing it was 'real' which may be a 'religious miracle' in it's own right, so that the 'hoax' is actually also 'real' makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Use those things to decorate you voodoo doll made out of homemade playdoughWhat You Need: 1 cup flour 1/2 cup cooking salt 1 cup water 1 tablespoon of cream of tartar 1 tablespoon of cooking oil Food colouring Activity: Mix the flour, water, salt and cream of tartar in a saucepan over medium heat until thickAllow the mixture to cool and then add the oil and knead well over a floured cutting board or similarwith a voodoo doll it shouldn't matter what material you use to make itAs long as their is a bond or something that attaches it to the person you want (So they say, I'm no voodoo practitioner) but heyGood luck with the bullying, try to make the voodoo doll have a bigger heartOr a second voodoo doll of yourself and make them friendsYou know the whole 3 fold rule and stuff'Thou hast obeyed the LawBut mark well, when thou receivest good, so equally art bound to return good threefold.' (For this is the joke in witchcraft, the witch knows, though the initiate does not, that she will get three times what she gave, so she does not strike hard.)
