Is there any type of "spray paint" or sticker application to make a window let light in, but not easily seen through?
Ive gotten the best results with sand blasting the glass. There are some spray products on the market, but the ones I have tried did not have professional results, was splotchy.
mom glued sheers to hers (sheers are those fancy almost see threw curtains) lace like but she had previously applied very large decals, as big as her, on to truck sides - so it was a snap for her she said that you can get real crafty and pick up a stained glass window paint kit and put on the design you create at the hobby shops or they make nifty kits with snowflake patterns like that apply like big decals at the hardware stores or you can get auto window tints and apply them at the car parts stores or they make this really cool stuff now with tiny holes in it ( you can see it at the McDonalds drive thru for advertising) it comes in any design they can think to print - you see out but all they see is flowers on the opposite side - you can sorta see the flowers on the inside, or i suppose you could reverse it and you see the flowers but that might let them see more of you - i'm not quite sure how that stuff works - but you can get it on the internet mom says if all this is to challenging for your ability you can always put plants in the window
I would suggest some decorative window film. Just don't go for anything too garish or obvious such as the wavy water or colorful garden wisteria patterns. Something that looks like frosted glass is best. You can also get security film which is much thicker and if anchored properly can prevent people from breaking in through the window, at least on the first few swings of the baseball bat. They do sell a spray that is supposed to mimic frosted glass but it's best used in small areas, perhaps if you mask off a pattern of lines or with stencils before spraying it then the inconsistent spray won't be so obvious.
