In the north Dallas area, I set the temperature in the morning to warm up from 72 to 75; after 9:30 am, from 75 to 76 (I work from home most of the time, and this is the highest tolerable temperature for me), cools down to 75 by about 9:15 pm, and then cools back down to 72 by 12:45 am (late enough for my wife not to feel it, but barely tolerable for me since I need to sleep by 12:45 am and I CANNOT sleep at 73 degrees)I think I'm being more than reasonable.
Pepper spray and a whistleThat's only if you're committed to the keychain onlyHome defense, which I know is a different category all together, I recommend a five-pump shotgunBuy a .75 cent bottle of white-out and paint the bead, then add a two inch line right behind it on the top of the barrelEven pitch black conditions, you determine you have a threat in your door or window frame, too easy to lay the white bead on your target (that you've definately identified and aquired) and insure the white line is straight and horizontal (aim low, most errant shots, by human nature are high for reasons too many to list here, and there you goAll that said, it makes NO sense to even own ANY type of weapon if you're not going to regularly practice with itHope I've helped.
There are not any stun guns that actually work, that will fit on a key chainWhile there are hundreds of stun guns sold, most do not actually work, Because they do not produce enough energyIf you want a stun gun that actually works, Your gonna have to spend at least $70.00 for itYour best bet, would be to buy pepper spray, at least 10% OC They do make them small enough for a key chainThey last around 3 months, if you do not use them , before the pressure in the can, is lost.
i don't know about on your key chain but a taser might be what you wantor you might want some pepper spray or maceone of those should bring down most people that would mess with you.
So is that too cold for her? That seems really warm to meI can't tolerate above 72 degrees, and my husband likes it warmer, but he has adaptedMaybe give her an extra blanket or something? One other thing you may try, in my room I have a fan that blows only on meThat may help cool you down a little moreI need my room around 60 to sleep - my husband just throws on an extra blanket when he gets too coldSorry for your problem - its very hard when you both don't like the same temperatures!
