How can i polish Galvenised Iron sheet like mirror ?

Answer:

You could try using fine grit polishing compound and a buffing wheel, but you will still see the pattern of the galvanizing until you wear through it down to the iron.
The only thing you need is renter's insurance. Everything else are wants.
I take it you seriously want to do this, and properly.Item 1,a mirror must be optically flat ,or as close to it as possible.Second it must be polished scratch free.Method:decide on the size of mirror you want then cut it so that there is no bad edge, this means either covering the sheet from which the mirror is to be cut with lacquer and then marking out the mirror edge by removing the lacquer from a narrow boundary region. The back of the mirror should also be lacquered.Plop it into warm battery acid till the sheet is etched through, then strip the lacquer using nail polish remover or acetone, dry. Now stick the mirror blank to a flat piece of wood, metal or plastic. Now we start polishing,I take it you are to do it by hand. So get a thick glass plate(or metal if machined flat),a bar of soap and some silicon carbide paper(you want several grades down to 400 grit).put the coarsest grade of abrasive paper grit side UP on the glass base and rub soap(dry or only slightly damp)into the grit then get your mounted mirror blank and start grinding down the face you want to polish,be careful not to rock the mount and go on grinding (keeping the grinding direction constant(no crossed scratches)until the ground side is flat, all scratches in one direction, and all trace of the galve. crystal pattern has gone.Rinse in water and dry then do the grinding step again using the next finest grade of grinding paper.Repeat these steps till you have the finished with the 400 grit.you will probably find,if you have done the above properly, that you can get a good enough final polish usingn aproprietaryy polish for copper or silver.Experts might use fine alumina or magnesia in water or even fine diamond boart on soft selvyt cloth. How many of these steps you use depends on what you want. It's a long time since I did this kind of thing and I reckon you will find it difficult. But there it is GOOD LUCK!
