How can I setup a linksys router with a modem that uses usb for internet instead of an ethernet cable?

i have yet to see a modem which exclusivly useses usbi bet it has an rj45 as well and you merely need to reset thisotherwise, you wil need to use the nic on the primary machine and share/bridge the internet connection from usb to nichowever, posting modem router make/model may get you better answer.
