I am taking a welding class at Great Onyx job corps and my instructor could not actually explain how to tell the difference i know that they are used for different purposes but you cant weld on ductile iron and I would like to know how to tell if something is ductile, cast, or regular iron. please answer A.S.A.P. thank you
Theres an element referred to as IAC. (Idle Air administration) in many circumstances placed close to or on the throttle physique. indications of a defective IAC are damaging idling and stalling. examine for suitable installation of gasoline filter out. Hook up a gasoline tension gauge and locate the specs and evaluate. good success
My guess is uneven torque between the lug nuts. Whoever put the wheels on last might have made some lug nuts tighter than others which could cause warping
Rotors warp from excessive heat, and 'possibly' from uneven torque across your lug nuts. BTW, our friend who claims that G6s wear out pads every 5k isn't 100% right. I have customers who wear them out very quickly, and some who get more than 20K out of them. It all comes down to driving style and the kind of roads you travel on.
Can You Weld Ductile Iron
