Question:

How come nobody is claiming Lucha Underground as WWE Rug now that John Morrison, Ezekiel Jackson and Alberto Del Rio debuted there?

If this was TNA you know people would be claiming it's just another Ex-WWE Guy being picked up by 'The Evil' Dixie Carter as a rug for WWE.Yet, Morrison, Jackson, Del Rio and Chavo can go to Lucha Underground and nobody cares. Smarks are so full of ****!

Answer:

cause they are using the talent properly? if they are doing something right why complain! FUN FACT: its AAA lucha libre from Mexico using California talent.
John Morrison was more an acrobat than a pro wrestler at times. (Though I'm a big fan of the Miz and Morrison as a team) Ezekiel Jackson has as much personality as my TV remote. Alberto Delrio is a decent wrestler, but terrible on the mic and has no charisma.
not sure what a rug is in your language But from what I've seen, (watched the first 3 episodes) for me anyway the way they used them was Original... citing their WWE career as, just that, their Pre-LU Career and moving on... Having been a champion is cited as a part of their resume... any conflict they might have had is a foot note...whereas too often in TNA a WWE Belt meant instant push... and any WWE Interaction between two parties was part of why they were fighting today... -- case in Point the Hardy/Dudley/Wolves arc that was TNA's tag division last Summer... 2/3 of this whole story was based solely on the Hardy/Dudley issues from WWE in early 2000s, with the Wolves as Clear EC surrogates -- how many ex-WWE Guys were fast tracked to TNAs Title? or like Sean 'Val Venis' Morley given a very similar gimmick Perhaps Morrison and Zeke are at the top of the card because of their WWE Time, but they were also there when UL opened the doors, so that is a 'back stage thing' how many TNA Originals have been put on the back-burner so that TNA could Push a WWE Guy -- seriously how many times did AJ styles get relegated to 'side kick' so the 'fresh from WWE guy' could be pushed (Christian Angle for sure, not to mention his time as 'Flair Jr.') Eric Young's Heel turn/Push is FIVE years late because they wiped the slate on 'World Elite' so Hogan could 'get the band back together' Bobby Roode is 37 and only a 2 time Champion because TNA kept holding down native Talent to push anyone with a WWE credit when LU starts making those kind of mistakes and signing every 'Future endeavored Talent they can... then we can argue whether it is fair that TNA gets picked on
