First - please do NOT use chemical drain cleaners. These are made because unknowing homeowners want a quick fix, and the only thing they drain well is your wallet. They also create a hazardous situation if you give up and have to call a plumber. (They really don't appreciate having a face full of caustic chemicals.) Your best bet is to buy a drain snake, as others have suggested. They're relatively cheap, and easy to use. Some are turned manually with a crank to work them into the pipes, while others can be attached to a hand drill to turn them. For the price of a few bottles of the chemical stuff, you can have a useful tool that will last for years and clear drains many, many times, if you get a decent one.
