depends on the situation, if you have a dirty baking tray, and have no time to clean it, or you don't want what you are cooking to stick to the baking tray, or maybe the flavour is strong and will linger on the tray, then yes is the answerAlso if something is really greasy then you will have no bother to clean it, as you just dispose of the foil.
