Question:

how do adjust CRG motorcycle levers and what is it doing changing the numbers 1-6?

My .motorcycle clutch and brake levers have adjustments on them 1-6 how do you use these and what do they do?

Answer:

i own a repair shop, and i doubt that they total it out, they might if the amount of the damages add up to be 80% of the trucks value then they,ll total it out, other wise they,ll fix it back for you, if it was a 2000 model they would have totaled it,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.
If the cost of repairs is higher than the cost to replace, well do the math. If I am insurance company and it costs $4 to fix and $2 to replace, I will total it and replace. It is good that you are talking to a mechanic. But the if necessary part is what they are talking about, if it costs more to straighten than replace the part, well do the math. I personally would want a replaced truck rather than a goofed up frame. But if it can be fixed, correctly then that is what you do.
Like Tim said, the lever changes the pivot point. Put your hand on one of the hand grips and gently hold your fingers over the lever. Turn the adjustment lever to get the feel you are most comfortable with.
They slightly adjust the centre point of the pivot of the lever so that those riders with long or short fingers are able to apply similar amounts of power to the brake and clutch. Although the adjustment is slight they do make quite a difference. I am not sure which way the numbers go on CRG levers, my cheap ones have 1 as the setting for long fingers. it will not harm the bike for you to experiment until you find a setting that is best for you, do it on a quiet stretch of road.
Do You mean adjust the clutch free play, you do that by the adjuster at the lever or at the clutch casethe number on the lever itself 1-6 is just the distance the lever is from your fingers 1 really close and 6 farther away. Those numbers are to adjust distance incase you have short or longer fingers or what's comfortable for you
