How do I attach a connector to rg59 cable when the aluminum shielding is brittle and damaged?

Answer:

Ok, check this out, start out with a fresh cut on your cable, about a quarter of an inch from the end, take a sharp blade, preferably a razor blade, cut all the way down to the core electrode, without scoring it, all the way around the cableRemove the insulation, then a quarter of an inch back from the first cut,cut just the outer layer very carefully to the shield, and remove the outer sheath, check to make sure none of the aluminum shield touches the core electrode, and just screw the connector on until the core just sticks out past the screw on part about an eight of an inch and dont even mess with pullin' it back, just jam that puppy on there and screw itgood luck
Putting her nose in it is not the way to do it; she won't know why you are doing this to herMaybe she does not like the litter you are using try some Kitten Attract litterYou can buy it at places like PetsmartYou also might consider giving her a bigger place to be all day is a long time to be all alone in a small roomI read your addendum and I am going to add that you probably can't keep her off the counters but adding another litter box and using the Cat Attract litter might help with her problem when she is out in the rest of the houseLitter box problems are the 1 Reason that people surrender their cats to the sheltersIt's difficult sometimes but you can doCheck out some other litter box answers at this site there are lots of good tipsGood luck to you and kitty.
I have 8 cats so I have hit lots of cat problemsOne of the things that cats don't like is to have the food and the litter in the same placeSome cats are just pickyCan you try and place the food somewhere else? Sometimes, they don't want it in the same roomWhen you keep them so close, they sometimes get confused Some cats are just mad that they are locked in the bathroomThey will do strange things when they are upsetGive it a shot and remove the food from the bathroom and place it in the kitchenIf you some reason you cannot remove the food, place the food on the sink or in the tubGood luck!
She may HATE her cat sandCats are funny about the textureTry some different kinds of sandpossibly 2 boxes with differnt types and see what she likes bestThen move her food into another room or across (not a small room) then hope for the best.
The food and water dishes may still be too close for her liking in proximity to her litter boxCats do not like their food water to be too close to where they go to the bathroomI would try relocating the food and water dishes when you're home see if she still exhibits this behaviorIf she doesn't then you know it's the location you'll have to reconsider shutting her in the room with the litter pan and the food water dishes.
