Okay i have looked at bunches of placing a elevator in the sims 2 and they say put a elevator on the first floor and one on top of that if its two stories and ive tried that and it says must place on floor or terrainI also tried shafts.and that didnt workI even googled it and none of the sites helped me what am i doing wrong
a tent is useful when you are camping

Did you build a floor on the 2nd story? You need to lay a carpet or flooring down so that the elevator will have someplace to end upI didn't know you could build elevators in the sims 2Is that in a new expansion? Anyway, try placing flooring first.
