Question:

how do i calculate the volume of a circular silo with a rectangular side?

how do i calculate the volume of a circular silo with a rectangular side?

Answer:

Assuming you mean that one corner is a square corner, and radius = r V=H x (r squared + (3/4 x pi r squared) )
i'm not completely sure if we're thinking of the same thing but you cout cut the circular part on top off. that would be half a sphere. find the volume of the half circle for a sphere and then divide it by 2. then you would have the rectangular prism. find the volume and add the half sphere and the prism together. i'm so sorry if that made no sense
