Help! My smoke alarm is beeping, meaning the batteries need changing, I think. The directions say, Remove this A-C quick connector and open this access door. I can open the bottom of the access door, but the top is attached to the quick connector. I have pulled on the quick connector, but it doesn't come out. What am I doing wrong? I need to change the batteries tonight, because I can't sleep with it beeping every minute or so. Thank you!

there are video chat apps that allow multiple tablets/phones/ect to all be viewed at the same time, but thats really it. also, front doors are not normally electronic, so they don't normally have apps if you want to get an alarm system, many professional home security systems have apps you can use. it sounds extremely expensive and complicated to actually purchase full-fledged tablets for every location. it makes more sense to just get some WiFi cameras, and place them around.
