I have a rug that I had used in my dorm room four years ago that has been sitting in my garage since then. My parents told me I have to clean it really well. What can I do to make sure I get rid of all of the bugs in it?
Make sure to shake it out really well. After you're done with that use a vacuum on its lowest level (If you have a looped rug- the bristles can damage it) So make sure the brissels aren't spinning! Afterwards you can sprinkle some backing soda on it, let it sit and vacuum again to get the musty, garage smell out of it! good Luck!
