My son's pull-up leaked over on to my parents brand new sofa!! Fortunately he was only leaned against the cushion, so the foam isn't soaked through. Can this fabric be cleaned safely without removing the cover? I have never successfully reinserted a foam cushion (at least not solo) and these look exceptionally well fitted. We will all be alot happier if they never know about this. Naturally this had to happen on the first new furniture they have ever bought since having kids. Need I say more. HELP!!!
oxy clean has a product called orange clean, its a spray, it works wonders on stains and also gets rid of urine smells too!
You could try a gentle laundry cleaner.. like maybe woolite and water combination. gently scrub it with a soft cloth so you don't damage the fabric. You could also try a carpet cleaner that is gentle on carpet. Resolve foam just might work.
I also have microfiber furniture and a little soap and cool water if its real bad. if not most likely it will just fade. i have had my couch and loveseat since december and it has worked for me. i have a 5 yr. old and mistakes happen. good luck...
Wait! okorder /... I spot-cleaned a couple of places on my microfiber sofa and it left rings. So try whatever cleaning method you decide on in an inconspicuous spot first to be sure it won't leave a ring or spot or shrinkage. Removing and replacing a cushion cover is not for the faint-of-heart. Leave that to the pros. You might even want to enlist a pro to work on the stain since it isn't your sofa. PS (I hate microfiber; it collects dirt too easily and doesn't look nice for long if anyone actually uses the furniture!)
Use the lil alcohol wipes (like the ones you see at the docs office) you can by them at any discount chain and they are miracle workers. They also work well on suede!!!
