My 2.5 yr old just had a huge accident on my microfiber sofa. I have a towel soaking it up but I don't know what to use on it now. It's a dark brown color, so stains usually don't show that much, but it was a LOT of pee. I can not take the cushions off. I just tried blotting it up with towels and then ran my Kerby vaccum over it. It's still very wet and I don't know if it worked. Any suggestions?
Clear spray dettol will kill any bacteria and then just wash with cool water and towel dry. Microfibre fabrics are usually really very good to keep clean.
If your sofa is a true micro fiber than the liquid should just wipe off the surface. It seems that blotting should not be necessary. water/vinegar solution should work for the odor and steam can sanitize it. here is a link that describes how to care for a microfiber sofa. Good Luck
