Question:

Whats the difference between bedding and nesting for dwarf hamsters?

Do you need both? And what is bedding and nesting by the way???

Answer:

They're really just about the same thing and you don't really need both. They'd probably like it though. No pine or cedar.
I don't think it really, necessarily, matters. Bedding is usually like a fluffy material that hamsters can use for their bedding, to put in their house or to sleep in. Nesting is just when they nest, they make a nest which is there 'special spot'' where they sleep.. i think. Good luck, though..Xx mwah..
Bedding is what you fill the cage with (Please don't use pine, cedar, bed fluff or cotton, use CareFresh or Aspen) and nesting is what the dwarf hamster uses for a bed, like your bed, and sleep in it. What could make good nesting is just plain unscented toilet paper.
