I have a Samsung LCD monitor with DVI and VGA inputs. how can i connect this to my HD cable box? do i just need specific cables?
if your cable box has a dvi output use that. otherwise get hdmi to dvi converter.
Weston is absolutely right. To get video on your computer monitor, you just need to connect it to the DVI or HDMI port on your HD cable box. I just want to add that you will need to hook up a set of speakers to your HD cable box to get audio though. DVI is video only, no audio.
