Question:

How do I get into an operators union in Southern California ?

I have been working on pipeline installation for four years and I'm wanting to work in California as an operator. I can run several pieces of machinery including rough terrain forklift, excavator, bulldozer, bobcat, indoor forklift, backhoe. I live in California but I am tired of being away from family. The money is great out here but money doesn't make me happy no more.. I would like to join a operators union but I have no leads. If anyone can Help I would greatly appreciate it.

Answer:

Look for labor unions on Google. Then go to a local hall to find out how much of your soul you'll have to sell to join.
