Question:

how do i get the fabric softener smell out of my blanket?

i really hate that STUPID smellits just too strong(dont say sunny day cuz its rainy where i live) i cant even sleep with it! any suggestions?

Answer:

yea i agree on aluminum foil!
my aunt puts in a (allready cooked) plastic bowl, covers it with a clean wet cloth and puts the lid on, and it's fine.u can reheat in a mico/oven for a couple of minutes.if it's good i'm sure they will eat it hot/cold.
Take aluminum foil, and spread the foil out on the inside of a tupperware container that the macaroni and cheese will fit inthen put the macaroni and cheese in the tupperware and on top of the foilthen just put the lid on the tupperware and take it to your family get-together make sure, when you select a tupperware container, you select one that just fits the macaroni and cheeseor you could select several tupperware containersBut it is best to pick one that is a size such that you know that, when you put the macaroni and cheese in, there will not be much leftover spaceThe less leftover space there is in the tupperware container after you put the mac and cheese in, the more the macaroni and cheese will retain its heat.
Whenever you want to remove a smell try vinegar Wash the blanket with a couple of cups of vinegar in the water Fabrics get stiff because there is a buildup of soap on the fibersA fabric softener will coat the fibers in a perfumed waxVinegar will remove the buildup and soften the fibersVinegar does not smell when it is driedYour blanket will be soft and flufffy and will smell clean not sickly.
