Question:

how do i just cover crust on a pie not the whole pie.?

do i just stick foil around the edges of the pie crust i need a picture of this or something lol help please

Answer:

Make about 4-5 strips of aluminum foil, about 2 inches widePlace them around the rim of the pie pan, crunching it gently against the crust so as to protect it from the intense heat of the oven.they also have browning rings at kitchen supply stores for that exact purposeChristopher K.
All those old stories about aluminium being unhealthy for cooking are just nonsense. Why would they be allowed to sell them if they were harmful? I have even washed re-used them at times.
