Question:

How do I make a Faraday cage out of my RV, and can I use ferrite beads or something to filter phone/elec/wter?

I also want to know if I can put some kind of 'tinting' that is metal based over the windows, and if I would need to ground the RV and put a lightning rod up. I assume a NEMP would fry a simple line filter, how can I do the metal lines, or the water supply? For an option on the windows am considering metal screens, grounded to body. Perhaps double layered?

Answer:

Being that rubber mulch costs a good amount more than organic mulch your going to want to do it right so it lasts. First spray the area with a weed killer, anything that contains glyphosate is good (round up basically). Get a quality weed fabric, newspaper NOT being quality. You can usually find 3 year, 5 year, and sometimes 20 year or life time weed barrier, get the best you can, this will save you time and money in the long run. You can lay the fabric over the sprayed area right away or wait until the grass has died, either way the chemicals will take care of it, but it is easier to wait until the grass has wilted. place a good 2 of rubber mulch over the fabric, and apply a pre-emergent to the area. A common product is Preen but there are better products out there. Apply preen in the spring and again mid summer every year. Doing that, you will be very weed free.
That would be a good question to ask your plumber when you bring him out. Without seeing the house, there is no way anyone here could give an accurate answer. There are a lot of variables. Does pipe need to be fed inside the wall? Does drywall need to be torn off and replaced? How many fittings need to be installed to get the pipes where they need to be? If the first estimate sounds high, get a couple more. Most contractors will give free estimates. Compare the estimates closely to be sure that you have apples to apples bids. Hope this helps.
difficult point. browse over a search engine. it could actually help!
The cleaning process is easy but requires some attention or you can damage the read/write reads from your VCR. There are some tricks we will teach you in this. The material you will need you probably already have at home: cotton swabs, blank sheet of paper and a bottle of alcohol. The first step is to unplug your VCR from AC power and remove its cover..You will use a cotton swab wet in alcohol to clean the erase, audio and control heads. The read/write reads are located on the drum and require a “special” procedure. Don’t use cotton swab on the drum or you can damage the VCR heads.
