I just got this lcd monitor so I could network it to my laptop. By network, I mean having the laptop screen like it usually is but have the lcd screen so that its another screen so I can put other windows on there. I know how to connect them so they are the same exact screen but thats not what i want. I want to know how to use the laptop screens like normal and the lcd like another seperate screnn. I hope you can understand what I am saying. Thanks for you help!
buy another computer or you can have two pc,s and one monitor but not two monitor and one pc,s i mean only one application can run at a time.
What your trying to do is to run your laptop screen and the LCD screen as 2 seperate displays. This can be done in Win XP, if you right click on the main window and select properties, settings, and make sure that you can see 2 monitors in your drop down menu. Make sure you have the LCD monitor connected. There is a guide under Windows, Help and support, type in: dual monitors and it guides you thru the set up.
