Question:

How do I push the wheels in an office chair?

I bought this chair but it's hard for me to push the wheels in. Any tips??

Answer:

You could leave the wheels on but get a needle nose pliers and reach in by the wheel axle to grab bunches of the stuck hair. You should be able to yank it out section by section.
Just put a small block of wood on the caster and tap it with a hammer. It will drive the shank of the caster into the hole and it will set itself. You are done. You don't want to hit the plastic wheel directly with a metal hammer because it could just snap off. Consumer ALERT!! You could just buy this type of chair at a 2nd hand store, spend $5.00 on a caster, and have a $199 chair in your house. People are so stupid.
Use a little Vasoline and a wood mallet or wood between wheel and a hammer.
