Question:

How do I sew my own leg and arm warmers? (no sweaters/socks/sweatpants involved)

I'm trying to make my own leg and arm warmers so I can sell them to help pay for things around the houseI don't want to use old socks, sweaters or sweatpantsI have plenty of fabric/elastic/eyelets/yarn (for lacing), so there's no problem about thatI've tried to make a few without a pattern, and they failed.Does anyone know of a website with easy to follow (possibly with pictures) instructions on how to sew my own leg and arm warmers?

Answer:

A container would be best because it won't be squished if its in a hard plastic container
Tin foil would be best, or one of those containers you usually put leftovers in:)
I'd probably start with a pattern of a closely fitting pair of pants and a closely fitting knit shirt, something like Jalie 2105 or 2248 or KwikSew 3636 and 3444I'd make them in a good quality stretch knit like Malden Mills Power Stretch or perhaps one of the softshell fabricsOr else I'd just drape my own patterns and grade up and downYears ago, when I was in ballet, we spent breaks knitting our own on circular needlessort of a knitting from the top method, trying on as we worked.
