Please try your best to help.... I have an error on the screen of the Aquasmart 7600 (Sensor Lockout Err)I have run out of oil a few times which required me to bleed and restart the burner....I am sure this may have been the reason for the issue but I still need to fix it.The Primary Control is a Genisys 7505 if I remember correctly..... 1) I have powered it down and back on and that hasn't worked2) I have tried holding the ENTER/Reset button in on the Aqua and that isn't allowing for a restart eitherThe water level is not lowPlease help me asap. Thank you very much!
The 2 in 1 sensor detects water temperature and water level. The Error indicates that either the sensor has failed or has a loose connection. The Aquasmart control is usually mounted over the sensor well, but sometimes the sensor is mounted a litlle ways distant, somewhere on the boiler water jacket. The cable the comes out of the sensor well seperates into a green ground wire, and a multiconductor cable with a RJ (phone jack) plug on it. Check that the ground wire and clamp are tight. Unplug the RJ jack and plug it back in. Push the cable into the well firmly to make sure the sensor is bottomed out in the well. This is all you can do. The sensor should only be replaced by a qualified boiler Tech. Inproper installation can cause a boiler explosion under some conditions.
