How do I stop the nose tickle while using a CPAP machine?
I have severe sleep apneaI sleep with a CPAP (continous positive airways pressure) machineIt works great, but my nose tickles several times in the middle of the night! I have to turn it off and scratch my nose before i can go back to sleepWhat can i do to stop the ticleing????

Do NOT clip her purely for looksIt all depends on her work loadBut by the sound of it, you should leave her completely unclipped, or at least no more than a trace clipWith or without a rug, she should be left alone in that senseA typical winter rug with a rain coat to go over it should keep her better sheilded from the elementsDon't forget to give her some run-in shelter to go to if desired!
sometimes a protective tape can decrease thatsometimes placing the mask further up on the bridge of the nose might helpIts just a pain in the machine for our patients, not sure there is much you can dosorry sincerely, male cardiac nurse
I wouldnt clip her till springAnd as for the ruf i have no idea about the weightAsk at a local feed store or somethingGoodluck with your new mare
You don't clip to make them look smart, you clip in the interest of welfareThat means you clip if they are in a fair bit of work or sweat a lotAs she is living out, the only clips I would suggest are: -Bib and belly -Trace -Chaser -Blanket
I would leave her with her coat on especially as she has some catching up to doAt the most, if she sweats a lot, she could have a low trace clip to prevent too much sweating and still live out quite happily provided she is rugged up and well fedSweating is not good if you are trying to get condition on a horseGood luck.
