have you ever done a bycicle? Its the same really,Get the back tire in the air and with bike in nuetral rotate the tire untill you spot the master link,easily identified by the clip holding it in place. Hard to describe that clip but it goes from pin to pin kinda looks like a jesus clip. You pop the clip and slide the pin out and walla the chain is free.However if you have an endless chain [no master link] you will need a chain brake or very gently use a grinder. If its an endless chain you will need to know how to peen the end of the pin over when putting the chain back together.
