My 2001 Honda accords alarm went off because my little cousin was playing around with it. We could not get the alarm to turn off even after turning the car on. However it eventually turned off. But turned on again when we opened the door several mins later. Any idea how to turn it off if it happens again?
I had an analogous issue - motor vehicle became into locked with the distant fob, which became into then misplaced (fell off key ring). commencing the motor vehicle with the main spark off the alarm. although, relocking with the main in the driving force's door, then reopening, ability that the alarm now would not bypass off.
if you lock then unlock the door with the remote it should cancel the alarm. or, if you don't have a functional remote, you can unlock the driver's door with a key (or re-lock then open the door with the key). either way should cancel the alarm hope that helps
