Is the air blown into the room or is it radiated from heaters? I think they want to achieve a temp of 40 deg Centigrade is this correct . Also is it exactly the same as Bikram yoga without the qualified bikram yoga teacher. Many thanks for taking a look and would greatly appreciate any help....Jamie
I think they used a device like in a steam bath and maintain its temperature, just a guess. :) Anyway, yoga is one of the best exercise thus you can check it out at jennyoga website, for more loads of info about yoga.
It depends. The studio that I go to uses heat pads and a humidifier. The heat pads go on the roof and heat comes off them. If the heat is too high, they just open the windows or use ventilators. That's just the studio that i've been to though.
It is bad if your body cannot tolerate this type of physical activity in the heat. Not all people can tolerate it, so if you have never done yoga or do not spend much time in the heat, you may not do well with this type of exercise.
first of all any yoga don't require external heat about this yoga type if you put some heat or not result is the same and its wet steam coz as this yoga originated from manipur a place from cold north India that village contains lots of hot water reservoirs so the steam helps to loose some cals
